Berlin City Lexus Plus Dealership in Portland, Maine has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly-driven and experienced Luxury Auto Sales Associate that has a dual role of a Sales Consultant and Finance Manager.

The Luxury Auto Sales Associate will have the opportunity to engage hundreds of customers to assist in their vehicle purchase. Sales opportunities could be cultivated through internet leads, phone calls, or customer walk-ins. The goal is to establish customer loyalty throughout the vehicle-buying experience. The Luxury Auto Sales Associate will work with the same customer throughout the entire process, from finding the right vehicle to finalizing all state and legal documents.

Job Responsibilities  

  • Excellent professional communication skills 
  • Prospects for new clients 
  • Accountable for departmental performance standards; “Customer Service Index”, “Gross Average”, and vehicles sold 
  • Has proper knowledge of products, market trends, and certifications 
  • Reviews, updates and manages inventory reports daily 
  • Prepares and reviews monthly plan with Sales Director 
  • Creates and executes strategy for increasing market share 
  • Completes all aspects of the sales process including delivery of the vehicles 
  • Manages Financial aspects of car sale from beginning to end 

Education and/or Experience  

  • Minimum of one year auto finance experience preferred.
  • One year sales experience preferred, however will train the right candidate who possesses the qualities above.
  • DealerTrack and/or JM & A training a key component for consideration. VIN solutions experience also a plus!
