Groove Ford is seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Centennial, CO!!!!!

Job Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Provide every customer with an estimate of repair costs including parts and labor, or identification of warranty coverage, after a complete assessment of concern is completed at the vehicle.
  • Provide customers authorization in a timely fashion, for additional repairs that may be needed before the repairs are attempted.
  • Establish a realistic and specific time promise (including waiters) for each customer.
  • Maintain an accurate job tracking sheet, which provides a proper load based on daily calculations of group capability. Workload should not create carryovers, nor should the production group run out of work on most days.
  • Properly document R/O upon completion of work including a complete description of all work performed based on the information provided by the technician. This documentation must provide the value for the price charged.
  • Maintain an effective appointment schedule that does not over or under load the production group, allows time for complete job analysis, and manages the waiter workload so that customers can be satisfied.
  • Present the appropriate maintenance schedule (menu) to each customer, along with validating the maintenance log and installing an updated next service due reminder at the next required factory mileage interval.
  • Include a Technician Inspection form on all vehicles with 15,000 miles and over. Note: If inspection is not appropriate, note the reason on repair order.
  • Make only one call to the customer, by ensuring the inspection is completed along with the diagnosis of original concerns.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in dealing with customers, peers, and all management.
  • Maintain technical knowledge to be able to present competent explanations to customers and technicians.
  • Be knowledgeable of the most current owner’s manual information for all serviced products.
  • Service department revenue goals accurately forecasted and consistently achieved.
  • Stable service team that consistently meets or exceeds productivity and service standards.
  • Consistently high levels of documented employee and customer satisfaction with service department experiences as measured by manufacturer and dealership sponsored surveys.
  • Profitable and effective use of service department assets.
  • Cost effective and efficient preparation of new and used vehicles for sale by the dealership.
