General Summary: Safely, promptly, and respectfully move service cars to desired destinations. Maintain a clean, well-organized service area; assist the Service Manager, Advisors, and Technicians as needed.

Essential Functions: 

  • Maintain a professional and consistent appearance which includes the standard uniform and name tag. 
  • Follow the work schedule provided by management. 
  • Install plastic floor mats and seat covers in every car before it enters the shop. 
  • Note any damage on the vehicle to the Service Manager before moving.  
  • Make sure all windows and sunroofs are closed when the car is parked. 
  • Make sure every car is locked. 
  • Quickly respond to all pages. 
  • Remove the plastic floor mats and seat covers when delivering the car to the customer. 
  • Cheerfully thank every customer for their business. 
  • Maintain a speed of 5mph or less in the lot. 
  • Complete all work-related errands requested by the Service Managers or group leaders in a timely manner. 
  • Consistently monitor the service drive entrance, exit and drive itself for trash and debris. 

Education/Practical Experience Required: High school diploma or GED; must have a clear driving record for insurability and pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsible for the Following Results:

  • A positive last impression to every customer regarding their overall service experience at the dealership. 
  • Prompt and efficient handling of work activities requested by the Service Director, Service Managers, and lead technicians. 
  • The safe handling of customer vehicles. 
  • Deliver the vehicle to the customer in a clean and proper condition according to stated guidelines.
